The Shamisen has been part of the Japanese traditional entertainment and performance culture since the 16th century and has existed and remained prevalent in the culture since then.

The talent of playing Shamisen is also passed down in the family, protecting centuries-old traditions for generations to come.

At this event, you get to enjoy learning and listening to “Sakura, Sakura”, a popular traditional Japanese song famously played with Shamisen.
