Coto Community: NHK Fukushi Sumo Charity Match (8th February 2025)

Coto Academy has snagged tickets for NHK Fukushi Sumo Charity Event that will take place on the 8th of February, 2025 (Saturday). If you have never enjoyed a sumo game before, do not miss this great chance to discover and enjoy watching this Japanese sport.

NHK purchases specialized welfare vehicles with proceeds from admission ticket sales and donate them to elderly and disability care facilities across Japan, enhancing mobility and improving the quality of life for those in need.

As this match is sponsored by NHK, this day will not only be about sumo wrestling – but entertainment as well! Expect intense taiko drum performances, sumo chants, and a fun singing contest between famous entertainers in Japan.

We have a limited number of tickets for this very popular event and booking will be closed when all the tickets are sold.

Seat types: East chair seats A on 2F (東2F 椅子A席 ), or main chair seats A on 2F (正 2F 椅子A 席)
Fee: 5,000 yen/person (Fees include ticket fees, issuance fees, credit card transaction fees, arrangements, and information pamphlet)
Number of tickets available: 30 (One person may purchase up to 4 tickets)

*There will be no Coto staff at this event.

  • There will be no English-language guides or explanations for this event. Japanese only.
  • Tickets will be available at the Coto Academy front desk 14 days before the event.
